Facilities
We are set within acres of beautiful open countryside which is
appreciated by both the animals & ourselves. We are currently
building our facilities having recently moved here, hence we are
still a little like a builders yard at the moment. Once completed
we will have 2 buildings with a limited number of kennels for the
older dogs and a nursery block with 3 kennels for mommies and
their babies when the puppies are over 4 weeks old.
Although we have 6 acres of paddocks and gardens which the
dogs take it in turns to have free run and fun most of the day, we
will also have secure exercise areas where they can play without
supervision and still be safe. All the buildings and premises are
covered by cctv to ensure their safety and so we can keep an
eye on them even when we can not be outside with them.
The puppies are born with us in the house and stay with
us until they are old enough to go into the nursery
kennels and start experiencing the big world. Therefore
they experience all the household sights, noises & smells
as well as the outside stimuli with the other dogs &
animals. Once in the kennels they still come inside every
day for play time & to continue their education &
socialising. Our babies are not shielded from anything &
hence they leave well socialised & pretty bomb proof.
Our reception is our family home where we will always
offer our visitors a cuppa & if the children have not eaten them all
a biscuit or two or if you are really lucky Katrina will have been
baking & cakes & muffins will be on offer.
The dogs are exercised twice a day around the farm &
take it in turns for free run where they can play, exercise
or just relax. We have house time when the dogs get
individual time for cuddles, grooming & just family time.
We also plan to build an agility course to offer them
mental stimulation as well as physical exercise at some
point but as with most things this all takes time.
We are lucky enough to only be a short distance from local
beaches so the dogs get to enjoy the seaside, they also go on
regular walks to the local towns & car boots etc.
More importantly our dogs are allowed to be dogs we do
not stop them exploring muddy puddles or streams & just
enjoying life.
